MATTA Fair 2013 Engages Technology To Serve Visitors Better
The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair 2013 has moved into technology-driven gear to avail the growing tech-savvy visitors with great bargains during the three-day fair that begins on Friday. MATTA organising chairman Jeffri Sulaiman said several technology-related services were being introduced at this year’s edition such as online entrance ticket purchase, online contest entry form and MATTA mobile Apps.
“The first time all information about MATTA Fair is available via mobile apps for all smart phone users. Not only information about the fair will be available but also information about what’s on offer at the fair,” he told reporters, here today, in conjunction with the MATTA Fair 2013.
MATTA Fair 2013 will be held at the PWTC from March 15-17, featuring 103 tour and travel agents. He said the public could purchase entrance tickets before entering the MATTA Fair by visiting its website www.mattafair.org.my and tickets could be collected at dedicated lanes at PWTC from March 14. Meanwhile, Hong Leong Bank Bhd General Manager for Unsecured Lending, Group Consumer Banking, Genista Tan said Hong Leong Bank MATTA Credit Card would provide a complete package of offers and privileges for cardholders.
“For those who want the convenience of payment, we offer them the option to convert their MATTA Fair purchases from as low as RM1 into the 12 months zero interest instalment plan,” she said. Tan said Hong Leong Bank MATTA Credit Card members also would get 20 percent cash back for travel expenses like air fare, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) limo and Express Rail Link (ERL), including complimentary travel insurance up to RM 1.7 million.
